Things are finally going your way.

Your assignments were completed on time, your family ate the dinner you made without complaining and your favorite TV show has a new episode.

Then, a bear breaks through your fence. Now what?

Sometimes, it’s something small that ruins your day, like spilled milk. Or it may be more momentous, like breaking up with your boyfriend or receiving a rejection letter from your top-choice college.

It’s the end of the world, right?

No, it’s not. You may need to explore a new path, but life goes on.

First thing to do is deal with your emotions. When things fall apart, you may feel hurt, depressed, hopeless, angry, or out of control.

These are difficult (negative) emotions, but they can be handled.
