Don't be in a rush to grow up (or to have your kids grow up.) You will have three-fourths of your life to be an adult. And you only live once.
It's not fun to have responsibilities. Take the time to play and chase bubbles.
Don't be in a rush to have sex. There are so many potential complications--babies, STDs, stalkers.
Don't be in a rush to map out your entire life. If you do, you risk anxiety and depression. Did you get into the right classes? What do you do now that you didn't get into AP Chem?
Don't be in a rush to experiment with drugs and alcohol. There are so many potential health and developmental problems.
You're only a kid for so many years. Enjoy the journey; because all too quickly, you become an adult.
